1.     Electronic commerce or e-commerce is the process of buying, selling, transferring or exchanging product or service via computer networks which is include the Internet. In other words, e-commerce is internet based relationship between customers and vendor. There are three e-commerce that I choose which are Zalora, Lazada and Ali Express. Zalora and Lazada running the business to consumer (B2C) while Ali Express is business to business (B2B).

ZALORA
- Business to Consumer (B2C)
Zalora is doing Business to Consumer (B2C) because its business or transactions conducted directly between a company and consumers who are the-end users of its products or services. This e-commerce refers to between the business and an individual consumer. Zalora is doing this B2C sales must maintain good relations with their customers to ensure they come back to purchase the goods. Business that rely on B2C must make the consumer have a good emotional response to the marketing. B2C companies are continuing to an eye growing market such as mobile computing. B2C companies have been shifting attention to mobile users capitalizing on the popular technology.


LAZADA
-Business to Consumer (B2C)
Lazada is also doing Business to Consumer (B2C) because its business or transactions conducted directly between a company and consumers too who are the-end users of its products or services. Lazada is doing this B2C sales must maintain good relations with their customers to ensure they come back to purchase the goods. Business that rely on B2C must make the consumer have an emotional response to marketing. B2C companies are continuing to an eye growing market such as mobile computing. B2C companies have been shifting attention to mobile users capitalizing on the popular technology.


ALI EXPRESS
-Business to Business (B2B)
Ali Express is doing the Business to Business (B2B) because its type of transaction that exists between businesses such as one involving a manufacturer and wholesaler or a wholesaler and retailer. It is conducted between the companies rather than between the company and the individual consumers. They exchanged electronic documents in support of the purchasing of goods and services. Used for contract manufacturing, customs declarations, global trade compliance, order management and supply chain logistics. Ali Express can improve communications among partners and enhance the purchasing experience from business to business.

Profiling and personalization

The main function is to gather and store the data, behavior and consumer choice when access websites. When consumers visit Zalora webpages, the servers will automatically record information that includes user computers’s IP address, feedback, browser type and webpage that visit before in Zalora.  We also can review the item that we already but before.

We also can manage our own account personal information such as changing the address, username, email and password. We also can review the item that we already but before.

The main function is to gather and store the data, behavior and consumer choice when access websites. These profiles used to recognize the customer as an individual user in order to create a one to one marketing strategy. We manage to see the orders that made and get the coupons after registering an account.
Access and security

The consumer need to register an account and the people have it they need a username and password. Consumers also can log in by Facebook account. Besides, Zalora provide security system by Norton secured which is secure payment with SSL-Encryption and data protection. It’s also certificate by Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) which give protection to cardholder and encrypted network.

The consumer also need to register an account and the people have it they need a username and password. Consumers also can log in to Facebook account or using Gmail account.

Search management

It is to help consumer to find specific product or service they want such as clothes, jewelry or bags. Zalora websites can be acquired from search engine like Google, Yahoo and Bing which customer can easily to online shopping by surfing the Internet. It also comes with filters for consumer to choose the specific product like color or prices.
It is help consumer to find the specific product or service they like to buy such as clothes, bags, shoes and so on. We can search everything the items that we want to purchase. Lazada provided the major categories of the item on the top of website to their customer. This system make the us directly search the item we want and place order easily. It also saving our time instead if searching every product one by one.



It is efficient and effective search processes provide a top e-commerce website capabilities that helps customers to find the specific product or service they want to evaluate or buy. AliExpress provided the major categories of the items beside of website which is easier to customers to search the product that want to place order. It is flexible to the consumer.
Content management

Content management really important for the e-commerce. It worked together with profiling tool to personalize content. It is very details and organize. The zoom feature make the consumer choose product easier. Zalora has many top brand in the website such as Adidas, Mango, ALDO and DKNY. The categories focus on more to top brands and easier to consumer to purchase or search branded apparel. It is divided into two part which are men and women on the top of webpage.


It worked with profiling tools to personalize content. Lazada websites regularly update and develop all the their product at the first page of the websites. There are many categories of product that they provided in the left hand side of the websites.

3. 
          The e-commerce that I would like to prefer is Zalora because the design and other perception make me more confident and trust to use it. Even though Zalora and Lazada is a similar type of e-commerce but still there is some difference between two of them. Their type of profiling and personalization just same with others but then their access and security is Zalora can log in by the Facebook account which is more easy for me to log in because everyone has Facebook account. In addition, zalora websites has more security compared than the others. For their search management and content management are so organized and nice for me, Zalora has provided more branded item at their categories such as Nike, Adidas, Dior and so on. It would help me to find that branded product immediately by looking at the categories that provided at the webpage. Some e-commerce did not provide the categories by branded but they provided through the type of item which is clothing, shoes and accessories. By Zalora I could click at the brand of the item than I choose what goods that I want to purchase. In Zalora it has so many variety of choices that also come from well-known boutique in Malaysia. So, I don’t have to go to the boutique, just purchase it through the Zalora. In Zalora, I can make payment by Cash On Delivery and bank payment besides the other common type of payment. So by Cash On Delivery I could pay it the items once it is arrived.

            From this activity I have learnt something new which is I got more knowledge about what is e-commerce and what kind of e-commerce has in world wide. Then, I realized among the e-commerce there has difference type of them which is this business running out this kind of categories such as business to business (B2B), business to consumer (B2C) and also consumer to consumer (C2C). I got to know the difference content and search management in e-commerce that I choose for. Probably after this I could try one of the e-commerce to purchase something and get the own experience by trying it. So by doing this project activity I could get explore more in the websites
